  • Got this one second-hand for really cheap. The delay-time is quite ok and def. enough to build some nice walls of sound. The best feature is the hold function. Using this you can add layer after layer of sound and create really massive noise-walls before sending it to the mixer. As mentioned before the sound is a bit lo-fi and a little muddy. This can add to your sound, but if you are looking for some crystal clear echoes this is def. not the right box for you. The case looks really sturdy, though the knobs are quite high. But as most of you will not use it as a stomp box this does not matter.
  • Good Points: - quite cheap - sturdy case - hold-function - lo-fi sound
  • Bad Points: - control knobs a little high - lo-fi sound

  • This was my first delay pedal, and it is still going strong, even though it has been well used by previous owner(s)...the delay sounds themselves are pretty good, but for me the Hold function really sold me on this one...all around a ver good pedal if you can find one.
  • Good Points: Hold function.
  • Bad Points: You have to continuously hold the pedal down to hold a sample, which can be annoying is you are doing tabletop-style noise and need yr hands free to manipulate other stuff.

  • a beautiful instrument. the pedal claims a limited range up to I believe around 2000 ms but this can be easily modified with a philips screwdriver to about 15 seconds. it has a warm, cruchy, low fidelity digital sound and it's great for dirtying up clean sounds. overall it is an excellent pedal for warm, crunchy, low fidelity loops and delays. do NOT expect crisp, clean sounds out of this, especially at high delay settings - the effect is reminiscent of a third or fourth generation cassette tape, and it sounds beautiful to my ears.
  • Good Points: very simple to use. the hold function allows for loops. alternate dry out so it can be used as an effects send. quality case. also, if you open it up there are pots for controlling various parameters which are all labeled. to change the amount of delay, you must also take off the control pan board underneath the main board. also try try the "cutoff" - makes it very easy to get more crunch out of the pedal. I personally find the chassis beautiful - it reminds me of the Snakeman level of Megaman 3.
  • Bad Points: it's a bit lo fi, but of course this can be good. seems to have a short battery life, though I use a DC adapter for mine. also, my unit can no longer add a dry single to the wet signal without a mixer, though the dry out still works.
