Effector 13 Krackle Fuzz

Effector 13 Krackle Fuzz

More images:

E13's first incarnation in the Death Button series of effectors the Krackle Fuzz.  No knobs only a foot switch and an in and an out. It has no internal boost so it really works best with something pushing it (such as another fuzz pedal, a distortion, or a compressor)

Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $20.00

  • good things do come in small packages. this thing really squares out your signal. kind of like a poor man's machine pedal. it's either on or off. no knobs. put a boost or pre-amp after it for optimum gain. Put it after another distortion too make the distortion extra dirty.
  • Good Points: small footprint, simple on/off operation, cheap price.
  • Bad Points: none, other than no knobs. not made any longer...
  • Price Paid: US$20.00

  • Krazy krackly fuzz effect. Sounds like your speaker is blown out... True to the words above. By itself it's pretty lame... crackles all right, but with not much "oomph". But it will absolutely mutilate and fuzz up a Big Muff real quick with the volume all the way... get some good ripper fuzz going on... with some zipper goodness to match... lovely
  • Good Points: Small. Cheap. It's got more character in it's little box then most manufactured pedals do in all the world. Great for creative studio use.
  • Bad Points: No controls... Really have to evolve your effects "around" this pedal as some set ups don't work as well as others..
