The SUPER-DUPER 2-IN-1 has two Super Hard-On pedals in one small box, with two switches and LED indicators. Also, the SUPER-DUPER 2-IN-1 has a Master volume control that lets you use it as an overdrive/distortion with any output volume. This pedal is dangerously loud.

  • This is my favorite boost pedal ever made bar the new Way Huge Re-issue. It is dirty, gritty and SO LOUD. The problem is the price always with these but if you can get one it's worth it, the battery clips come with a decent power supply anyway and if you take care of your gear the paint is not a problem. If you have a decent tube amp, you need a boost. To have 2 of the same thing in one box is is a major advantage. And rolling off the master can really chill things out if you need it. This can send a super reverb into metal territory.
  • Good Points: 2 OF THE SAME BOOST IN 1 TRUE BYPASS MASTER VOLUME LOUD
  • Bad Points: PRICE
  • Price Paid: US$0.00

  • Found one of these cheap, and picked it up knowing I could sell it for a profit if I didn't like it. The only positive thing I can say about this product is that it works as advertised - it boosts your input signal. That's it. As you increase the volume, the static/ noise floor increases. Someone might have a creative use for the hiss and static this can generate, but I think a clean boost should be clean. The output buffer works well if you have an impedance mismatch, but even that feature is not worth the asking price of this unit. There's an infinite number of cheaper and quieter boosts and buffers available.
  • Good Points: - works well as a buffer - loud
  • Bad Points: - insultingly overpriced - cheap paint job scratches VERY easy, killing resale value - noisy - battery only ( getting a power jack requires even more ca$h) - no real signal coloration
  • Price Paid: US$150.00
  • Purchased At: used

  • Designed primarily to be used for guitar and an amp;and maybe more effective that way. In a noise set-up all it does really is make your signal and the quality of whatever else in it;..just way much louder and open.It doesn't really color your signal as in modifying or altering it. Maybe it's more noticeable in the production of less than chaotic and unpredictable noise blasts. I found it useful only when I need something to boost an otherwise weaker signal or extra knobs to muck around with for fine tuning(if really needed)..but I have enough controls to do that and my set-up is fairly capable of extreme volume even without it. I got it as a gift, and considering its rather hefty price,I don't necessarily use it everytime I'm playing..plus I got the ones with batteries only for power. Can't really justify recommending it for noisemaking; unless you really want some expensive boutique pedal that does nothing but boost the signal and has a limited effect on the overall "quality" of your processed sound. For reasons other than its intended use,I'll keep mine just because it is one beautifully crafted device and has that feel of some kind of exquisite electronic jewelry..it's even packaged like one!
  • Good Points: -excellent build/cosmetics -does what it does very well -short cut to decibel hell... loud!!loud!!loud!!
  • Bad Points: -way,way expensive for what it does -limited use in signal coloring -battery power only..(in mine)
