- A considerably good fuzz,though you do have to take the time to find its more appropriate spot in the chain..I have this at the beginning; before another fuzz/octave unit and it complements the other effects rather well..The knobs are sensitive/responsive to subtle turns, and you have to be careful not to get too excited when tweaking them..especially the gate knob..The color, tone and level controls have more noticeable effect on the signal than the reso or gain sections. ..but this could be different in other set-ups. I have other fuzz/octave units, and this does its job well;. where it is..I found it to be useful in improving the tonal quality of samples, especially the weaker ones. A fuzz that maybe, used with other instruments, like the very popular electric six-stringed types, would be able to produce some interesting and colorful sounds..but in an outright extreme music/noise set-up, might find itself of limited use. Capable, but not necessarily essential to noise..(there's plenty in the market that can do what it does..)..but if you stumble into one with a good price, it's worth getting just for the reason that it is a more than adequate fuzz with great features and controls, built with reputation defying quality.

- Bad Points: -needs other effects for optimal use -non-distinctive character..(could be a good thing..)

- Nice fuzz. I use this primarily with my stick/guitar rig, since it seems to handle low frequencies better than most fuzzes. It seems to have a lot less high end than most fuzzes though, which seems to make it a bit muddy in feedback loops to my ears. However, it can be very loud, and with the gate turned off it will self oscilatte at almost any setting, so a handy noise source. In that config, the tone know basically acts as a frequency control, producing vaguely thermin like sounds.
- Good Points: Good sound, solid metal case, foot switch seems reliable and easier to trigger by hand.

- very powerful and crisp crunchy sound and all metal box. seems to be unlike zoom very strong and discrete sound i love this unit wont turn it down i wont name any other units but its very good just alone even

- a great, very versatile distortion/fuzz pedal with unheard-of features like the "reso" knob. extra tone variations with essentially two different tone controls, "tone" and "color"
- Good Points: controlled fuzzy feedback via "reso" knob for anarchistic fun, responsive built-in gate, versatility, sizzly ripping tone possibilities, extremely solid construction, quiet metalic on/off switch, very inexpensive for a pedal with these features
- Bad Points: not that loud even with the level at max, the gain seems fairly uniform from 12 o'clock to max

- i was told this was a cool by Stimbox and boy was he right. this thing is really cool. its the first fuzz i've owned so i really have no opinion about fuzzes. not as crazy a distortion as say a death metal pedal but better than an overdrive pedal in my opinion. it has a gate knob. very cool. a reso knob. a color knob which will change the fuzz sound from low fuzz to a trebley fuzz. tone knob and gain and level knobs. the really cool thing about this is it self-oscillates. you don't need any input except maybe a patch cord. i you can do simulated feedback plus make it sound like a theremin. I love it.
- Good Points: amazing different sounds out of this puppy. sturdy as hell. its analog not digital. has gate. self oscillates
- Bad Points: i wish it got louder.
