The pedal can control many effects ranging from crisp cutting wah work to expressive volume swells. Use it to manipulate various parameters of bending effects to change the pitch, delay or tremolo effects, or to control the sample and play function. By pressing the pedal all the way down, you can switch on or off the effect assigned to the pedal.

- The cut-rate version of the AX100G has most of the same problems as a lot of processors from this age -- the distortions suck (the fuzz in particular is laughably bad), the amp modelling is pointless, sampling is two seconds at most (and that's pretty lo-fi), there's a flatness to the sound that you can reduce but never totally get past. Having an expression pedal saves this thing, and some of the effects are useful (the delays are lo-fi in a good way, there's okay ringmod/filter action), and it's good to have for effects you don't use very often (this is my only flange pedal). The eq is okay (the sweepable mid is handy) but not great. There's a few nice bends worth checking out for fuzzed-out hiss. I always hope "use seven effects at once!" means I can chain seven autowahs, but it's one effect from each of the seven categories, so the amount of real effects you can use at the same time is pretty limited. They're cheap enough to pick up and experiment with, and there's enough stuff it does well to make it worth checking out -- I like it with my Casio mt240 or early in some feedback loops, but it's definitely not replacing any of my regular pedals.
