- I LOVE this product! It's what I've been using primarily to record my noise tendencies. Seems to give a warmer overall sound to recordings than if I used computer software. The onboard effects are great, especially when using the ultra-sensitive contact mic. For ambience/noise, that's when this unit REALLY shines! I'm still learning new and different ways to record with it and probably will for a long time! Highly recommended!!!
- Good Points: Portable size, records with SmartMedia cards (I recommend buying a 128mb to maximize tracks and recording space), contact mic VERY sensitive, backlit display for darker field/studio situations, comes with it's own AC adaptor
- Bad Points: You DEFINITELY need to read the manual to navigate the menus. Because of it's compact size, the buttons have 2 to 3 different functions. But I promise you can record just about anything within minutes!!
