  • I really like this delay. Simple, and warm sounding as it is, it can make your sound feel more thick, and rich. It has a very natural feel to it. It sounds more analog than digital, and very natural. You cant make very long delaytimes with it, but since most of us donÃÕ need that, it shouldnÃÕ be a problem. The case is in sturdy metal, and I know by experience that this one can take a beating or two, without braking, since IŽ´ve used it live, in my reharshal place being drunk and stupid. Its good for those who wants to ad little bit of delay to their sound. Works good for background sounds as speech samples/tapes, as well as pedal chains, synthesisers, screams and so on.
  • Good Points: Warm natural sound, sturdy case, simple and effective. Can find it at decent prices here and there (but I got mine extremely cheap).
  • Bad Points: The knobs are in plastic.
  • Price Paid: US$3.00

  • decent delay, nothing huge just good for adding echo/stuttering thickness to your chain, or it has stereo outs have it start a f.b.l. and wait as a semi uncontrolable wall forms...i found two at decent prices, and if you run them in series(one after another) you can turn your chain into a garbled mess..
  • Good Points: decent enough, yet not costly
  • Bad Points:
  • Price Paid: US$45.00
  • Purchased At: ebay

  • A very nice digital delay from the 80's. not the biggest range of delay-times, but i rarely use very long delays anyway. makes everything a standard delay should do, but sounds loads warmer and more natural than say a boss delay. also has a dry out. a great little thing. it's the sound: it's just a basic delay, but it sounds so warm and natural it beats most digital delays i've tried. the range in delay-time is ok, since i don't need very long delays, but word has it that you can mod this to make about 5 seconds of delay-time. housed in a very sturdy metal-case with a plastic switch. the switch isn't all that bad really. the knobs are quite loose (on mine at least) so you have to be careful not to step on them. the jacks on mine seem to be a bit loose, i'm having some problems with the signal occasionally, but i guess it can be fixed. all in all, a very nice standard delay. supposedly the new one by ibanez lives up to this one, but this one will do ok in as a backup or some extra in a noise-chain.
  • Good Points: amazingly natural and warm sound. doesn't really sound digital. sturdy case.
  • Bad Points: some might want more delay-time, but supposedly it can be modified
