• Great for noise! Breaks up the sound pretty brutally and if you put the drive knob all the way up it completely chokes the sound when it gets a loud input signal, which also sounds good. However if you find the position on the drive knob right before it chokes, the pedal comes alive and will grind anything you put through it to the finest noise. The tone knob gives you a wide palette to work with from heavy lo end /lo mid to piercing high. Now they are called 1406 and come in a blue square casing, more solid than this one.
