Electro Harmonix Micro POG

Electro Harmonix Micro POG

The Electro Harmonix Micro POG polyphonic octave generator pedal can make your guitar sing like a 12-string, emulate an organ, and get some truly unique sounds without glitches. It works great with bass, too, giving your bottom end even more bottom, and some truly funky options to tweak your tone! You can dial in one octave up or two octaves up with the Micro POG's Octave Up knob, while a Sub Octave knob adds a lower octave. A Dry knob blends in the amount of effect, while the compact, sturdy housing makes the Micro POG a perfect addition to your pedalboard.

  • i bought this pedal without testing it! and cause i was searching for an octaver and all my friends told me the best things about it! when i tested it with my guitar i realized that it colored my sound and i thought that i played with a small part of an orchestra! but to be honest i was waiting to hear a big part of an orchestra but i realized that if i wanted something like that i had to buy pog2 but it doesnt matter cause this fill my needs of my music expression! it feets very well with synths! and you can make unexpectable drones with everything you want[mics for feedback guitars bass] sorry for my english i hope you can understand what i wanted to say

  • I tried this out with an ear toward layered drones. This pedal definitely offers pipe organ like drones. The sound and tracking of this pedal are pretty much perfect to my ears. It lacks the modulated tones of the full-sized POG, and you can't be as precise with the blending. That said, it's a lot cheaper, and both the sub octave and the octave up sound great. No Blue Box-y glitches here, but plenty of droning, chiming tones. Being more of a low-end guy, I may save a bunch of money and opt for a Danelectro Chili Dog instead.
  • Good Points: Great tracking. Great tones on both suboctave and octave up. Wonderful for drones. Cheaper than a full-sized POG.
  • Bad Points: Still expensive. No glitchy sounds.
