  • bought mine at an Earth show in berlin from some idie-dude who always drank tea because 'its the cheapest drink you can get', he said. it sounds just like you would imagine on guitar, check youtube for awesome commercials. as for noise ... i dont know, it does many different things of which none are great. you can do a funny robot voice with the filter matrix. but i just coundt ever make it flange for me. not im my chain. one time used it with just 2 distortions in a loop and recorded some CRAZY shit - but i ever found that setting again. ........ since i started to think the mistress was crap, i lent her to my bandmate and that prick couldnt make her work at all, so he told me she was broken. i picked her up and today, about half a year later, i hooked her up again to find out she's ok. .... just placed her first in my chain without thinking. and well, i just had one of the funkiest sessions ever, psychedelic dooood. so ye, i have hope in this this pedal.
  • Good Points: sexy look, coolest knobs ever, magic powers?
  • Bad Points: no LED so its hard to tell if she's on or off, srsly... runs on an own very special power supply, she's also fucking huge (almost like a moogerfooger), but i dont care

  • I have a much newer model than shown above. Mines much larger and differently shaped. You can see it on the EHX website if you so desire. It can only be powered by it's hardwired power chord. It's got cool flanger tones and gets pretty nuts when you got the rate cranked up and otherwise can add anything from a lush rumble to a bizzare harsh swirls and sci-fi wobbles. What really rules about this thing is the filter matrix mode. Have you ever wished you could make your flanger stick in one spot of the sweep? Well--you can do that w/ this. It isn't all that different from a wah-wah-like filter but there's something weird and lo-fi about it. You can get a muted, muddy low thunder and and an abrasive high end at the same time.
  • Good Points: Looks cool. Pretty sturdy. Hardwired powersupply. Will give you a different sound that the forty-seven million percent of everyone who uses BOSS/DOD models. Filter matrix mode.
  • Bad Points: While it looks cool, people might confuse you for someone playing classic rock. Large size makes it awkward to fit into your setup. Kind of expensive. Not as extreme as some more modern examples.
