  • This is the best analogue Echo/Chorus/Vibrato out there. The problem is they are running low on the original parts so the price is way up. Beats the shit out of Boss DM2 for the price and also is 3 in one. The oscillation is massive too. This is the warmest delay sounds but there isn't that much to play with. This is more of a slapback at times. Still, if you can get one, do it!
  • Good Points: ANALOGUE 3 EFFECTS TRUE BYPASS HOLDS VALUE
  • Bad Points: Price.

  • Definitely a cool analog delay. It doesn't have the delay time of the digital ones but it has that cool high-end roll off on the repeats. It sounds vaguely like a tape delay only you don't get to reach in its guts and fool around w/ the tape. It goes nuts really easily but is also easy to control. If you practice you can crank the feedback control and use it to make little tiny loops which you can manipulate the pitch of w/ the speed control. The effects only show up on the repeats and aren't what you expect given their names. The chorus effect is much slower and will give you sort of a doppler effect on the repeats--really cool and useful. The vibrato is much faster and adds a warm shimmer down low and some wobbly craziness as you crank it.
  • Good Points: Warm analog sound, effects that seperate it from other delay pedals.
  • Bad Points: Big, clunky, expensive, shorter delay time.
  • Price Paid: US$200.00

  • This is a good analog delay pedal. Analog delays are very useful for noise. It will self-ossilate very easily, you can get some evil sounding filter noises and beef up the sound. You can get some good reverb sounds too. It's most useful to get or add feedback. The Vibrato is subtle and I never use it. I hate all chorus pedals without exception so I've never really tried that either. If you use the chorus/vibrato you trade off some of the delay time. You can't use just the vibrato on it's own - only with a delay too. Here's the bad news. This pedal is a horrible tone sucker. It takes out a lot of treble from the signal when off. The level knob controls the overall volume, even when the pedal is bypassed. How stupid is that? This pedal sounds best on guitars. It's only a short delay so you can't do any looping, just slight echo - but I wasn't expecting anything more - it's an analog delay. Good pedal with some annoying niggles.
  • Good Points: Great for feedback, self ossilation and nasty sounds. Great sounding pedal. Very expansive and impressive.
  • Bad Points: Sucks tone and volume, with a stupid level knob. Pointless chorus/vibrato modes. Horrible wall wart Expensive and not too reliable. Sounds only really good on guitars.

  • It has both chorus and vibrato. It has knob to adjust the amount of chorus or vibrato a knob to change the delay, a blend knob to mix what is being played and the delay. The best knob is the feedback knob. You can set it so it just repeats what you play over and over. If you set it post 12 o'clock it will repeat AND get louder! I like to do a small pick srape and let it repeat that alot and then I play with the delay which makes it do this pulsating effect that you can speed up or slow down and it changes pitch when you turn it. If you just let it repeat like that you can turn it off and play without any kind of effect and when you turn it back on the noise is still going. You have to turn the feedback knob back down to get it to stop. Which I think is really cool. I use a mini Q-Tron with it and together they are like those power ranger vehicles that combine and become Zords or whatever. It is my most powerful weapon in making noises. If you turn the blend all the way up it sounds really crazy when you pick behind the bridge or nut. Constant noises are probably the best to use with this pedal.
  • Good Points: Big knobs for your feet to turn. Huge range of sounds, It can be like a good reverb pedal, delay, chorus, tremolo or noise canon.
  • Bad Points: If you play with the feedback all the way up it just adds the chaotic noise, which can be cool, but I would like to be able to play over the noise.
