This is a great noise distortion! It chews up signals pretty damn good in general, however the thing that makes this pedal stand out is that wonderful MORPH knob! One side completely eliminates low end and makes for a brainsplitting barrage of mid/high, while the other destroys those mid/highs and blows out crunchy low end.

Mind you, my review is within a chain using at least one other distortion (Landmine and/or DOD FX86B).
Good Points: Good overall distorion

I mostly use this pedal in front of other distortions to create this sound murdering breaking up noise, it works best with a fuzz pedal, but ive used the same effect(but milder) with a boost pedal. The actual distortion is mostly unusabley fake sounding, nothing that sounds like a real amp. it took me months of tweaking to get a regular useable tone. the advantage of this is that if i want a crappy fake sounding tone its just a small twist to one side. however, i could never suggest this to somebody who actually plays traditional metal with a good concience
Good Points: glitchily combines with other pedals usable sounds range from incrediably shrill(black metal anyone?) to almost cocked wah-ish sounds, to an actual metal tone(that took me forever to find)
Bad Points: however, most of the nonusable sounds are just that, nonusable, even for noise.

this pedal is not mine. i used it in a big noise jam because my hyper fuzz ran out of batteries, so i took this from my friend and put it in the hyper fuzz' place. an excellent pedal indeed, i must say i was pleasantly surprised! it's got tons of disgustingly crunchy bass. i'd probably grab one of these if my death metal broke and i couldn't get another death metal. so, yes, if you can find one for not too much money. it looks like it's not too hard to pick one up on ebay for about . that's totally worth it. this pedal holds its own against the DOD Death Metal. i'd actually like to have both next to each other in a loop.
Good Points: - real crunchy! - gets noisy! - LOW END! - crunchy like granola!
Bad Points: - it's digital (if you're an analogue snob i guess)

Good pedal outside and inside of a loop. I would suggest it somewhere in the middle of a chain/loop for the best results.
Good Points: The morph button. I would describe the change this thing gives as "thin to thick." I like it. Pretty easy to find used for cheap.
Bad Points: Not much. It doesn't give you *any* sound you want, but it has more tone control than most distortions.

GREAT distortion pedal. I absolutely love this before a Ring Mod. Great tones, sound, quality, and produces amazing noise. Can create some crazy screaching highs and thunderous lows. Cool for static sounds and tonal control as well.

This is a fairly good distortion pedal for noise, but it really doesn't match up to some of the others you can get (Boss MT-2!). Anyway, you can get a fair range of noise out of it if you fiddle around with it for a while. It really should have had a gain knob on it, though. It would havemade it match up a bit better with the big boys. The morph knob is really the big thing that makes this of use, as it really changes the noise. THere's one real interesting thing you can do with it, though. Run the stereo out into the input. Then, you can use the "Low" and "Morph" knobs to control the tone generated. It can sound pretty interesting with enough effects.

Bad Points: Eats batteries at light-speed No gain control

the presets for this pedal are ok, but its basically the same as most other metal distortions.

This is the bad boy of all distortions, simply put! tons of low end! the morph knob is killer! i will never buy another distortion pedal EVER!
Good Points: Metal construction, easy to use, sounds unbeleiveable. the best meatal pedal ever made in my opinon!
Bad Points: absolutly nothing!
