  • Okay, its not that distortion for harsh noise walls. But it has 2 outs :D so you can use it as a soundsource by feedbacking it into itself. I have a soundsample online at www.myspace.com/steinbeisz -> stromdronemeditation (excerpt). The chain i used you can find at the fotosection.
  • Good Points: - good and heavy construction so you can smack someone very hard
  • Bad Points: - no "balls" - i think, it has a loud hum by itself when it is off (tested by battery and power adapter)
  • Price Paid: US$20.00

  • I bought this pedal as a back up for my Boss DS-2 which I used as my main distortion since my DOD Grunge broke. It has a more clear sound than the DS-2 and goes louder. But that's about it. The way I use it is with all knobs at their max position. And I use it more as a kind of overdrive. What more to say..??
  • Good Points: Heavy metal construction Good as an overdrive pedal or a booster ??
  • Bad Points: ??

  • Good Points: Cheap?
  • Bad Points: Really tame distortion and weak gain.

  • Really crappy...crappy,crappy,crappy. The only thing I've found it good for is maxing out the EQ and Gain and using it for loud screeching and and volume boost. But I've found this really only works at the end of an FX chain. It'll work a little better with mic/vocals, but not good for much.
  • Good Points: Decent for volume boost Cool for muffled static/screeches
  • Bad Points: Muffles, sucks volume... doesn't do hardly anything.
  • Price Paid: US$10.00

  • Well, this is the most useless piece of shit I've ever seen. It does, in fact, distort, but it turns everything into a boring, monotone, hum that is completely useless. you can get some nice high end sounds but you can't do much with it in a loop, which makes it unusable to me. The gain doesn't really do anything, but that could just be my pedal. I used this piece of garbage on an old radio which is usually loud, annoying, and full of static and this thing made it quiet to the point where it would be buried under any other harsh sounds. This thing sucks volume like a motherfucker. My little brother couldn't even find a use for it for a guitar in a punk band, it's garbage. save yourself the money, you can buy a Danelectro Fab Metal for , that's about dollars less, and the Danelectro has much more grit and actually adds volume, instead of taking it away
  • Good Points: It's made of metal, kinda heavy, and sturdy, so you could probably use it for many things, like a doorstop or you can use it as a projectile by throwing it at various people like door to door salesmen, burglars, unwanted guests, or Bill O'Reilly
  • Bad Points: Sucks volume doesn't do much at all expensive for what it actually does, good thing my brother gave it to me, not that he wanted it either
  • Price Paid: US$0.00
  • Purchased At: Got from my brother, he hated it

  • this thing is kind of crap in a feedback loop. it will sometimes degenerate into a monotone hum which just isnt very useful. where this pedal really shines is with mics, and contact mics...coupled with another distortion or two this thing will fill in some spots as well as give some nice metalic warmth...though when engaged on its own this thing can bristle at times...good for vocals, and clanging metal...
  • Good Points: solid construction good for mic use
  • Bad Points: crappy in a feedback loop
