  • If you like your ambient/post-rock delays and loops but cant afford all the toys or dont want the clutter you gotta have this. You surely don't need longer delay times than you can achieve with this. I like how you can dial in exact amounts of delay. The loop is also 20 seconds and you can overlay. The warp and Twist get a it mental but can be cool if you use it tastefully. The reverse is the best I have used. It's all well disigned and lit up but sometimes hard to navigate. Sadly, switching presets is jumpy and noticeable.
  • Good Points: Massive Delay times, Excellent Reverse and loads of other times, Presets + Tap Tempo, Looper, Looks pretty on a dark stage!
  • Bad Points: Not so smooth. Doesn't feel as strong as the single boss pedals.

  • for long delays, there isn't really any other pedal... I find that right out the box, it may take some effort to get the hang of how it works, but the manual is helpful if you need it. I find that sometimes the delay modes don't have much variance in sound.
  • Good Points: Clean sounding delay. Endless amounts of delay. Plenty of features and modes to keep you entertained. Ability to save settings. Stereo in/out. Good build quality.
  • Bad Points: Some delay modes are too subtle, and much like the standard digital delay mode. some of the knobs are either too subtle or, at times, seemingly useless depending on the delay mode. Back-lit display turns itself off, even on wall power.

  • I needed the ability to have more than one delay setting and a longer delay time to add to the sonic wall I create with my RC-20XL and this filled the pocket and then some. The tape echo patch with a long delay setting is great for layering sounds that I don't want to repeat forever. I also love the warp setting for staccato sounds stutter repeats an such. The reverse delay is great for ambient noises. It's sturdy build allows me to keep it on the floor so I can work other pedals with my hands.
  • Good Points: Sounds great, tough, multiple patches. long delay times
  • Bad Points: None for me

  • Very cool thing. A monster of forever of delay! It has stereo ins and outs and all sorts of manipulations of delay types in there. I have run Buddah Machines through it, a Synth Noiz Box, and hell i even attacked it with the ground noiz off of an open cable. This thing is neato. Sound on Sound layering of noiz and being able to change the delay time quickly makes for some cascading noiz. The Twist and Warp modes are great! You can even get it to make noiz without any signal and just hitting the pedal in Twist mode. Reverse is very nifty to! Super versatile and i new major piece to my arsenal.
  • Good Points: Super easy to use! Lot's of variations in the delay types. Looping is great! Built like a tank just like the standard Boss line. Not too expensive. Stereo in and out. Backlit! Has a +4 out setting if you need it. Lets you save 4 of your favourite settings. Works off a One Spot or similar power.
  • Bad Points: Wish the Tone knob was more extreme. But it's ok for what it does. Ctl input should be for CV not just a momentary switch pedal.

  • So I decided to go with this thing for my looper. I compared it to the Loop Station, LStation 2, and The Digitech Jam-man. The first obvious plus of this thing was: It's Stereo! In+Out. Also for me 23 seconds of loop time is more than enough. So modes: SOS (sound on sound): works the same as Loop station. You can't throw it into reverse, but it is in stereo. You can overdub endlessly. Twist+Warp modes: Both of these modes might as well not exist as far as I'm concerned. Very ugly/cheesy. Tape: Allows you to set where the two virtual tape heads lie over 23 seconds of delay. Analog mode: pretty good. Standard: I actually use this mode a lot. With a 23 second delay you can leave the feedback knob all the way up. Everytime the loop goes around you can add bits to the sound. Over time you can build very intricate explosions of sound. Very nice. Pan mode: It's nice, but a little limited. I wish there was more to it than just ping-pong. Like if they'd included a rate knob and a Square/Triangle setting. But it's Ping Pong. With a stero input you can get some crazy stuff ging though. Reverse: A feature that I never use on anything. But it works. Modulate Mode: Let's you set the rate and depth of the modulation. Pretty amazing having so much control on this. I still tend to do this with a separate device though. Smooth: Having gotten a grip on that one yet. Since getting this I really don't touch my 2 dd-6's anymore. If you think about 23 seconds of stereo delay for a second, I mean just count that out. That is really long. The potential for this thing is way up there. Also the time adjust knob and the LED screen make fine tuning this thing very easy.
