I wanted an 'exotica' pedal for not too much money and was this or a chorus that was left in the store around 1986. I liked phasing on recordings but of course this is not the same process!
I had a Vintage Kay Wah that gave both Wah(!) and drove my ss amp nicely as a straight drive and Chorus was a bit over-used in 80s. So I ended up with a pedal that is superb for, well, Reggae/Dub... Reggae... Dub...Reggae...
Paid around £15 pounds
Good Points: Superb for Reggae
Battery lasts ages... Used an old 70's 'pocket' calculator AC adapter and it powered it no probs!
Bad Points: I don't play Reggae
Price Paid: US$15.00
Purchased At: Kingfisher Music ,Fleet, Hants, UK 1986

I have both of the aria phase and flange. I like them both, but the stereo setting (outputs) is horrible. I can use the left output and get good sound. But trying those stereo out puts.... just doesnt cut it. The signal gets all thin and lacks some bottom.
Good Points: has allright sound. Nothing special. kinda weak.
Bad Points: Weak sound, stereo sucks, plastic box... wouldnt buy this (given to me)
