Two resonant filters combined into one box. Separate
in and out volume knobs, for each as well as cutoff
and resonance knobs. It features an on - off switch
and a master starve knob as well. Solid workmanship
and if your only using one input, the effect can
become stereo featuring both filters independently
controlled. That being said i personally prefer to only
use a little filter. i was very disappointed with the
Electrix Filter Factory and all it's bells and whistles, i
just wasn't getting the great q slurp as i do with other
filters. but before i got the slosh box i was using two
Electro Harmonix Dr. Q's. Well The Slosh Box
effectively put those out of my setup (and at a
smaller footprint to boot!). With more control
parameters than the Dr.Q's, as well as interesting
features such as in and out volumes and the starve
knob that will help add some random calamity
depending on what your running in your chain. All in
all I'm very happy with my Slosh Box. My only
problem is the on/off switch. It'd be nice if it were
true bypass, and i could switch it on and off without
muting everything before it.
Good Points: light, easy to use, and pretty sturdy build job. Plus a
variety of more uncommon options like power starving,
that will help coax some random chaos the pedal.
Bad Points: the switch would work better with other musicians if it
was true bypass, being able to pass audio while the
effect isn't engaged would definitely be more useful...
