RockTek Chorus CHR-01
The RockTek Chorus CHR-01 is a chorus pedal designed for electric guitar. Its primary control, the Rate knob, adjusts the speed of the modulation, determining how quickly the pitch shifts occur. The Depth knob sets the intensity of the pitch modulation, controlling how far the signal detunes from the original. A Level or Mix control balances the dry signal with the effected chorus sound. The pedal typically features a true bypass footswitch to preserve the guitar's signal when the effect is disengaged. It operates on a standard 9V DC power supply.
Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $44.00

- Decent watery chorus. Sounds extremely cheesy with all the settings dimed. Straight sci-fi/UFO stuff. Good for vocals. Easy to bend. Made a few mods to mine which made the modulation go nuts, and I added a distortion switch. I've turned mine into a very unique effect. Not particularly noisy, but you can fix that with a soldering iron.
- Good Points: Decent chorus sounds.
Easy to bend.
Good for vocals. - Bad Points: Rocktek construction.
Not much of a "noise making" pedal. - Price Paid: US$5.00

- Good pedal for the price. A decent range of sounds. Rate sounds cheesy when turnedup all the way. Depth usually needs to be up as far as it can go. Tone knob doesn't do much. I use an early 90's model so this may not be the case as of now.
- Good Points: Cheap, decent sound, decent quality.
- Bad Points: Depth could be deeper. Rate is cheese when turned up to far.
- Price Paid: US$0.00
