Maxon Super Metal SM-01

Maxon distortion pedal from the 80's. Has a lot of distortion effect but you can't get as many variations from this pedal like the Boss Metal Zone.

Good Points: Its a TOP pedal ,heavier than a house brick very robust.. it is like the Ibanez Super Metal Distortion , but even rarer ? or just as rare ? , I would say it has the same guts, it has 4!! jrc 4558 op amp chips !! its a real monster it has the subtleties of a tubescreamer when set right too , get one quick ....
Bad Points: none except maybe prone to sticky switches ..
