  • i borrowed one of these so see what it could do and if it was worth buying. it's not that bad, works fine in a feedback loop, and adds some good noise to a contact mic. i mainly used it to contour the sounds in the loop. the locking knobs can be cool but i didn't use them that often, as i like to constantly tweek every knob that's available to me. overall, not too bad, but there are better pedals for the money.
  • Good Points: nice distortion sound, adds good control to a feedback loop and some grit to a contact mic
  • Bad Points: not too many, but for the cost you can get better stuff
  • Price Paid: US$0.00
  • Purchased At: borrowed

  • Plain old distortion pedal. A bit bland on the whole. Other then the 'lock' feature there isnt that much to it. Really easy to use. Playing around with the 'tone' knob can bring about some sweet distortion, but to be honest i wouldnt buy it again should anything happen to it. ( the battery is easily accesible, which is kind of cool)
  • Good Points: Lock feature means you dont have to worry bout knobs once you get ur settings right, also allows space to play with the 'tone'.
  • Bad Points: overall sound is a bit bland and boring. nothing really that special

  • this came accidentally as part of an eBay deal, they sent the wrong item and let me keep it along with the correct item (which was the PC-2)! i wouldn't have ever bought it, but it is a decent distortion pedal - the knob lock-in feature is pretty cool, but i tend to leave drive and level punched in at the max and play with the tone knob. good for obfuscating sound sources more than adding extra distortion to harsh noise.
  • Good Points: cool pedal, the lock-in is nice for never bothering with certain knobs (giving more finger room), and good for coloring sound.
  • Bad Points: er, just a distortion. i'm glad i have it but i wouldn't buy another if it breaks or i lose it.
