this is a really, really nice analog delay! two outputs so it self-oscillates very well. using just this and a death metal is destruction. using just this and a noise swash is DESTRUCTION.

Some of these comments may seem biased toward digital delay. I started making noise with a digital delay, and I've come to depend on the long delay times and near impossibility of overloading them.
That said, this pedal has fantastic clarity on cleaner sounds. Also, the changes in pitch caused by tweaking the delay knob sound much less jarring than on a digital pedal.
I was disappointed with the dry and wet outputs of this pedal. I prefer the sound to pan and shift back and forth between the two channels, and I worry that with wider amp separation the combined sound of the dry and wet signals would be two rigidly divided and unbalanced. The pedal also adds a rather high pitched hum to the signal when the repeat and delay knobs are both turned up. The delays are too short two allow much space between individual sounds.
If you're looking to make continuous walls of noise with a relatively full, analog sound, this pedal would be a good choice.
Good Points: clear sound
ability to bend pitches smoothly with the delay time knob
Bad Points: dry and wet outs rather than panning stereo
audible hiss / overloading with repeat and delay knobs up high
relatively short delays

When I was first buying pedals I knew I was going to need a solid Delay so I did my homework and decided on this one. It was certainly the right choice. It works wonders in my chain when I want to tone things down a bit with some ambient type layers. I'm not sure what the effects are in a larger chain as I was using it with just a couple distortions and a Rupture but the possibilities seem to be there.
Good Points: Great for ambient type music
Not to expensive
Widely available
Bad Points: I wish the delay would last a little longer

Nice warm delay, not as strong as a digital delay. For some reason whean you turn the time to about 5:30 to 8:00 you get this wonderful ringmod like sound. A horrible clanging.
Good Points: Does well with whatever I stick in it.
Bad Points: too many repeats makes a bad feedback loop.

Got this thrown in for free when I bought a bunch of second hand pedals. And it turned out to be my favourite of the lot. Not much delay time compared to a digital pedal but so much warmer. Best sounding delay I've played . And you can open it up and eaisly play with the trim pots to extend the feedback and delay time, although you lose a tiny bit of sound quality. Good for heavy soundscapes of distortion
Good Points: warm tone
What's more important than that ?
