I recently traded a Mid-Fi Electronics Pitch Pirate for one of these and have found that it works much better with my rig.
Good Points: Works exceptionally well for over-the-top modulation, short modulated delay, and comb filter (fixed flanger) effects. Self-oscilates easily at higher feedback levels and provides different types of oscillation with each mode. Can be manipulated a number of interesting ways in real time with the tune/delay, width, and rate, and feedback controls. Works well with dirtboxes in the post position, even if incidental noise is produced.
Bad Points: Massive chassis. Requires a special wallwart. No status LED. The sweep filter can sometimes make the pedal sound too tame when engaged.
