- This piece is one of the most intuitive multi effects out there...right now you can get them between 0-200 on Ebay. It has a distortion that is subtle enough to use for cool techno/industrial vocals or to liven up those crap stock keyboard sounds...not recommended for main guitar fuzz, though as it is totally noisy and digital. The Flange can be subtle, but it can be absolutely jet like as well. The delay is super simple to sync to the tempo of your songs and has nice character, and the Tremolo can Chop like a Helicopter or hum like a vintage guitar amp, it also goes faster or slower than any other tremolo I have ever used. All of the time based effects can be synced to an internal Tap Tempo (the button on the front controls it) or they can be individually set, or both (set the trem and delay to the tap tempo and let the flange rip at a totally different speed). Another cool feature is that all the effects (except Distortion) can be limited to only effecting certain frequencies of your signal. Each effect is divided up into three frequencies (high, mid, and low) and you can choose which of those each effect affects. This means you can flange the lows for some bottom, and delay the highs for that sheen. Or any other combination you dream up. The main limitation in this piece is your own imagination, as long as you stick to the effects included. The noise factor in this thing is endless, I have juiced up just about any gadget I shoved through it to be way more interesting than before I treated it with the MO-FX. In fact, the MO-FX was originally designed to be used by DJs for remixes, so it is equipped with RCA plugs that you can run your entire mix through for absolute sonic mayhem while mixing down your latest creation.
- Good Points: Very Intuitive. Sounds that are traditional in nature, but easily abused. Tap tempo can sync to song tempos. Very quiet (except in extreme distortion mode). Selective frequency effects can change sounds to be almost unidentifiable if used right. Extremely cost effective when bought used.
- Bad Points: Electrix is no more. But, they still have service areas. Each effect affects the sound separately, when you set the delay to repeat it will but after the initial signal there will be no flange or tremolo on it and vice versa.

- The Mo-Fx is the best delay, flanger and tremolo you can find in the range of 100 - 150 dollars. It is midi controllable, and you can sync it to your sequencer clock easily. You can dump your settings into your MMT-8 or what ever sequencer you use so you don't have to set them manually in live situations. The delay has excellent quality to it, none of my pedal compete with the quality, but all delay pedals have their own unique aspect. The flanger and the delay are the most used on my mo-fx, i hardly ever use the distortion or the tremolo. It's a good machine, it's in an all metal casing and built like a tank. I'm scared though that it will break and when it does the mo-fx's will be 300 dollars on ebay.
- Good Points: Great sound quality, midi compatible in lots of good ways, cheap on ebay, stereo, analog
- Bad Points: not made anymore, but supposedly electrix still repairs them under warranty.

- ive had other multi effects, but nothing is better than this great analog tweaker. my only qualm is that it seems a bit backwards for what i need (i.e. the delay in front of the chain). other than that it has a great delay that can loop and overdub creating some very dynamic sounds. the distortion is okay, more of a simple buzz, but has nice boost and is good for the delay when sampling those incoming sounds. flange and tremelo very nice and tweakable as well, but sometimes get lost when the delay loop is on. but my loops tend to be overpowering on ocasion so i cant blame them much for that. one of my essentials for both my power electronics and ditorted beat music projects, and i will never part with it.
- Good Points: built like a tank. could take a bullet for you (but id jump in front of it). lights up like crazy. loud and infinately useful.
- Bad Points: not made anymore, so it becoming more and more collectible (expect to pay out of your ass for it). i think electrix is crazy for this, but hey, maybe theyll reissue it.
