  • I was really hoping for something great here, but unfortunately this pedal doesn't deliver. Why such a weak pedal had to be stuffed in this 3lb case is beyond me, for what it does it should really be one of the Danelectro minis. The flange sounds decent for processing and it is a "triple-thick" flange, meaning you can hear a number of sweeps going at the same time if you really listen.. but the same effect can be had by tweaking a DOD flanger really. Wimpy effect level is what kills this for noise, it just doesn't decimate the sound enough (even cranked the difference is hardly noticable).
  • Good Points: Low noise, clean, cheap. Can add a _little_ thickness to a sound. Best used for raw processing and with a high-gain pedal afterwards.
  • Bad Points: Weak sound, too subtle.

  • This pedal is supposed to be psycho, or extreme. It's far from that. I actually find it to be smooth and swooshy -- not that dive-bomber feel. It goes from very slow to medium paced. I wish it did more shimmering, almost chorus-like flanging. I haven't been able to get this to do anything good in a feedback loop, where it often acts like an envelope filter that's not placed right -- just a high pitched whir. Best as a typical flanger in a chain. It's very clean, and I like that.
  • Good Points: Clean flanging. Nice and swooshy. Build solidly.
  • Bad Points: Not extreme. Doesn't go fast. Not good in a feedback loop.
