  • This gets a rotary speaker sound, not really any vibrato as far as pitch changing goes. I use it cause I have it, one day I'll stop using it. Makes some quacky sounding rhythms in a floop, at max settings it also gets a hissy, white noise sound. There are better Dano minis out there.
  • Good Points: Well to be honest, even if all a pedal did is play the beepy synth part to "Safety Dance", it would be worth it for this price alone. Not bad rotary sound.
  • Bad Points: Limited on it's own, in a Floop it gets better but sometimes puts out some dumb sounding sci-fi ufo sounds (if you want those sounds, this thing is great for it).

  • Not nearly as tasty as the name suggests.
  • Good Points: Well, if you like the swwwoooossshhhing sounds of a phaser you'll love this. Sounds alright at the start of a loop/chain.
  • Bad Points: Not a vibrato by any means. Not flexible. The one trick it does doesn't really appeal to me.

  • not bad at all, pretty much everything all the previous reviews have said are true. it will give you some decent rhythm, and fatten up the sound when you slow it down...not as dramatic as the tuna melt, but not a bad addition to your feedback loop...
  • Good Points: small and compact, with a nice orange color...
  • Bad Points: nothing that hasnt been said before...

  • great little extreme phaser like the pepperoni 3/4 of the way up on lowest speed. with everything down it acts as a kind of acoustoc simulator for clean signal, or one hell of a gain, bass booster when clipped.
  • Good Points: very, very usable except alone in feedback loop, great after phaser or distortion, though.
  • Bad Points: not really a vibrato.

  • Like the previous review states this is not a pitch altering vibrato. To me it sounds like a notch filter making circular sweeps, not a phaser. If you place it before a distortion, the distortion will reduce its intensity. But if you place it after a distortion its intensity will show through much more obviously. A nice effect to be placed amongst other pedals in feedback loop.
  • Good Points: Cheap! Not a harsh effect per se, but it's nice for some interesting tonal coloration. Psychedelic, some might say. Very circuit bendable!
  • Bad Points: Like all the mini Danelectros the Chicken Salad is cheaply made.

  • This is not a Pitch vibrato as it claims. It sounds more like a phaser on a fast setting. It's quite decent for pretty noises and adding wobbles to passages but it doesn't do much that a phaser couldn't. But as a vibrato goes it's very good for the price.
  • Good Points: Nice sound.
  • Bad Points: Poor reliabilty, Not very essential. Not very usful for noise, it sounds too mellow.
