Boss Dr. Rhythm DR-55
The Boss Dr. Rhythm DR-55 is the first of the 'Dr.' drum machine series by Boss and is possibly the simplest to operate. Introduced in 1980, it features 4 analog generated sounds and a programmable rhythm sequencer. The sequencer has two 12 or 16 step patterns. The sounds include kick, snare, rim shot and hi- hat. Operates with either 4 'AA' batteries (with the included adapter) but it seems to work best with a standard 9-volt battery.
