  • This pedal is cheap and the build quality shows it. The casing is that brittle-feeling plastic and the knobs lack the solid assurance of a Digitech or Boss pedal. That said, it offers a lot of versatility at a very low price point. Used alone, the reverb and delay features are decent, basic, options for the effects. The reverb is powerful enough to add some depth and shaping to even very harsh noise and feedback. The delay is capable of attaining an "endless" (or at least near endless) loop if desired. Where the pedal comes into its own, however, is with the combo settings. Send a signal through some distortion before it hits the DB400 and this pedal will add a full range of wailing, echoing, swirling, effects that seriously sounds like a dozen noise boxes are screaming in chorus. I must admit, I had low expectations for this one but now I'm thinking about buying another.
  • Good Points: Versatile. Offers average-sounding delay and reverb. Combo delay/reverb settings are amazing for shaping and adding depth to noise, even harsh noise and feedback. Just about as cheap as it can get for a pedal.
  • Bad Points: Very cheap construction. Reverb and delay on their own are nothing to rave about, but not terrible considering the price. Absolutely sucks through batteries to the point that it basically has to plugged in.
