Audible Disease Tinnitus TN-1

Audible Disease Tinnitus TN-1

Plug in the Audible Disease Tinnitus TN-1 for instant distorted lo-fi gratification. The Tinnitus takes your signal and makes it sound like it's being played through a cheap transistor radio. Low end is eliminated leaving just the high-end grit you can use to induce audio pain. Caution must be used as ringing of the ears is imminent at high volumes. Operates with either a standard 9 volt 'Boss' style barrel-type power adapter or by 9 volt battery.

Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price: $100.00

  • sounds sweet in a chain for high end shit. however when i used with a guitar str8 2 amp it was barely noticable. i think it needs other effects/distortions to be of use.
  • Good Points: loud and screechy small easy
  • Bad Points: limited range of effect. maybe a 1 trick pony

  • Yes, this box could really cause ringing in the ears if used improperly. It really kills any kind of tone you have going, though it is not a traditional ripping distortion. It seems to boost the signal some, and jack the treble way up. Microphone feedback becomes an intolerable nightmare. The knobs really don't do a whole lot; there is only response in the first little turns of the pots. Maybe a lower value? For my purposes, Its kind of a set it and forget it kind of thing, even for a knob twiddler like me.
  • Good Points: Screechy and loud! Small-ish footprint! Looks cool! Fun to use!
  • Bad Points: Dogs will hate you...

  • this deffinately does what it says in the advertising, though i did find when coupled with a couple other distortions, this becomes a two trick pony, in where it seems to give you a high end boost, instead of taking away the low end, which is real nice to add color and kick this end when the rumbling just gets to bland and low. very fun to play with, there are some great applications that could be had, but i dont want to give away all my best secrets...figure it out yourself...
