User Reviews of the Audible Disease Infection IN-2

I'm happy with my purchase. This synth is exactly what I had been wanting -- something more intuitive for sound creation. Manipulating a joystick seems easier for me as I can predict what each direction will sound like. It's a feel closer to an actual instrument rather than blindly manipulating knobs.
The tones actually created by the unit are more than perfect especially when the unit is set up before a harmonizer. The knob brings real depth and crackling into your sound while also providing a second layer of sweeping sounds.
I don't own an IN-1 for comparison so I can't really say if it's the same thing in a bigger box. From the photos though I would guess the IN-2's joystick might be more finely tuned into a specific sound since it's a bit more open.
Good Points: -Decent price considering it's a very useful item.
-Allows for intuitive sound creation with a simple joystick interface.
-Produces unique rumbling tones and sweeping sounds.
-Metal housing and unique artwork.
Bad Points: -It's probably tough enough but I worry about over tweaking the joystick and wearing it out/breaking it off.
-Can't be run off battery power.
