  • This pedal is obviously not the best/most versatile delay available, but for the price it definitely serves its purpose. It is possible to get some decent spacey sounds out of it, and tactfully switching between the long->short delay settings can produce some impressive results.
  • Good Points: ultra cheap, functional, can definitely improve a loop
  • Bad Points: The plastic casing most likely won't take any crazy beatings before giving out. However I'm sure that it will be fine as long as you treat it fairly.

  • This pedal is worth way more than I paid for it. It's a nice simple delay with a stompswitch that I can hit (unlike the dano's). Very easy on batteries compared to other delays. I only wish it would self-oscillate.
  • Good Points: cheap, hasn't broken yet
  • Bad Points: battery compartment comes off too easy
  • Price Paid: US$19.00

  • It may look cheap (and it certainly doesn't hurt the wallet too much) but this is a totally decent, standard delay. No frills, no crazy extra features, it's just a delay. The short/long switch is a nice feature, though. In short mode it's virtually a reverb, especially if the delay time knob isn't cranked all the way -- just a quick, echoey trail after each sound. In long mode you get more of the standard digital delay sound. Again, nothing to go crazy over, but if you like having a lot of delays in your chains like I do, this will fill a niche as well as anything.
  • Good Points: - good, dependable sound - two modes for very different types of sounds
  • Bad Points: - plastic housing, it feels pretty sturdy though - knobs are a bit shaky

  • Borrowed this from my guitar- playing brother for my first noise show. Loved the simplicity of it, as well as the short/long switch. No, this doesn't sound like a delay 3x the price, but very good in it's own right. If I have extra $$ lying around, I'll pick one up for myself.
  • Good Points: - sturdy construction - durable switch - EASY battery compartment - short/long delay switch - affordable - decent pedal for beginners
  • Bad Points: Nothing really to mention. It is what it is....a cheap digital delay pedal. Save your money if you want an expensive delay with more features.

  • Well, this delay won't shatter your world, but if you're after a basic delay pedal with a good time range it'll do. I'd say this is pretty interchangeable with the Ibanez Sound Tank delay, except this feller has a switch for long or short delay times, which makes it much easier to make fine adjustments to the delay time with the dial. You can get that short delay comb filter sound, but not as well as with some pedals.
  • Good Points: Long/short delay switch. Relatively cheap.
  • Bad Points: Seems to filter a little more than it needs to.

  • not a very great delay, but not something to pass over if you find it realatively cheap. the main problem with this one is that it doesnt have the stereo outs that most arion pedals do, and so no easy feedback loop...witch would have been nice...
  • Good Points: still being made, and going for a decent price at some online music stores...
  • Bad Points: like all arion pedals these are made of plastic...which isnt too bad, but the knobs on mine seem kind of loose...
